https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrBxZGWCdgsI almost feel bad for those students/young people in Berkley. They are truly delusional, but have been taught to think like that. I graduated a from a Midwest college a few years back and upon starting in the workforce realized even how crazy left wing the school/professors/students are.
I remember second guessing myself on unpopular opinions of my classmates all the time...
Every person answered with a racist stereotype. Go figure.

I have a theory that goes like this: you're an idiot. Where will you get this list of nonvoters that's so easy to come by?
If you're affiliated with either Republicans or Democrats, they have been maintaining these lists since before you were born.
Voter rolls are a matter of public record, as is whether you vote or not. That's part of electoral integrity - you can't have secret voters. It's a public act.
For a fee you can get all this information too, though to compile it all from scratch might be a bit expensive. But the big, wealthy parties have it all on hand, and yes, they do have dark operatives who can arrange a bit of dirty work, typically in swing districts where a few hundred votes makes a difference.
Your overly long man-splaining is completely off topic and irrelevant. This has nothing to do with individuals needing to show ID to vote, and the other poster's silly claims about how easy it'd be to cheat the system on a large scale. Listen more, man-splain less. Thanks.
I feel your pain, but the ONLY part of this that is relevant is whether you paid into Social Security. You being poor or racking up CC debt doesn't make you vested in the system, and I don't think either of those, in and of themselves, should give you a right to decide the future of the Republic.
You misunderstand me. I don't think "skin in the game" will make you any more likely to vote for the good of the country (well, maybe just a little.) I just believe that paying into the system more than you take out gives you a right to help make decisions; otherwise, you should leave it up to people who are clearly better decision makers than your-hypothetical-self.

Ah, Bleeding Kansas. One of my favorite campaign slogans of all time.
Yep, read it here first. Rubio must be an LRC fan. Maybe he'll fill wejo in on how common this Dem fraud in "counting" is. Where's Katherine Harris when you need her?
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article220841135.htmlSeems likethe easier way to do it would be for the people with access to the blank ballots to stuff the box. Never hear of that happening recently but wouldn't that be more effective than having a bunch of people go pretend to be a registered voter?
It's easier to hide it these days, with MSM/DNC working together. Bush era was still touch and go, but now that everyone is in the #Resistance anyway, there's fraud all the turtle-way down.
Fair's fair. This is Payback for what Bush did in 2000 to Gore.
Latest ballots dumped by #Broward &/or #PalmBeach flipped Ag Comm race to Dem & shaved another 4k+ from Scott’s lead in Senate race
Since 3am Wed slow drip from these 2 Dem controlled counties cut Scott lead from 54 to 17K. And they refuse to disclose # of ballots they have left
Eat it, whiney Republamers (wherever you may be).
You just literally SUCK at finding additional ballot votes.
In response to the OP, the whole idea of "secret ballots" is already an obstacle to transparency (eg, my homeowner's association dumped them long ago, after a fraud-filled election), and indeed was discussed already in 19th century philosophers on both theoretical and practical grounds. Still, in most of civilized world the fraud is minimal even with hidden voting.
But USA manages to be completely worse than anything short of a true banana republic with its voting system having essentially no standards whatsoever (and those that exist, are often ignored with zero never any repercussions, indeed often promotions, to those openly violate). Jimmy Carter and his UN oversight never seem to zoom in on their own home though, rather rabble-rouse "fair" elections at convenient observations stations elsewhere.

Yet over 41 hours after polls closed #Broward elections office is still counting votes? #Sayfie

Don't worry, the Florida results will be finalized as soon as enough votes are found to ensure the correct and valid winners in every race. It just takes time....
And who gets to decide who are clearly the best decision makers and what gives them the right to make that decision?
Who are you, the topic police? Try reading and responding to posts that interest you, how about. If that's too much trouble, there are other forums with topic-nazi mods where you'd be much happier.
This is probably a stupid point, but if voter fraud were a problem, it is likely that both parties would be doing so in roughly comparable amounts. I don't think either party is above wrongdoing or lying.

HRE, I respect you, but you are playing dumb.
Playing dumb seems to be your schtick. I would challenge you to find 1 person that is voting age that has not paid some tax at some point in their life. We should encourage as many people as possible to vote. Some countries have mandatory voting, you are fined if you do not vote.
Everyone in the country has "skin in the game", we should work to let every citizen vote.

Thanks. But that's not an answer. All you seem to want to do is equate competence with some minimum measure of wealth Anyway. we're sort of off topic here as we're discussing who should legally be allowed to vote and the original topic is about people who are legally allowed to vote and what, if any, steps should be taken to make them prove that they are,
To your position, which is more about who legally should be allowed to vote and if suffrage really should be universal, I'd say to go ahead and try to enact laws that would eliminate people you think are not competent enough to vote or who don't have enough skin in the game rather than trying to find sneaky ways to discourage them from voting.
Pretty sad you have no idea how voting works, lmao.
