I'm a girl (23) who graduated from college 2 years ago. I ran in college (small, d3 team), but struggled with eating disorder (anorexia to bulimia..,weight was all over the place for a while-- currently at 5'4 and ~115 and have been stable at this weight for 2 years and feel healthier than ever within the past year) and depression for the first 3 years of college so I felt as though I never reached my potential. I started upping my mileage as I got healthier (from 50 miles per week to gradually 85-90-- reached 90 two years ago). I have since run a 1:24 half off of a year of 90 miles (fall 2017). My first marathon was a 3:05 ( beginning of Oct '18). I ran 3 runs of 18-20 miles to prepare for the marathon in addition to tempo runs and some short intervals during week (e.x. 12 mi tempo at 6:45 pace or 8 mile repeats at 6:00-6:10 pace and then a 2-4, 200s at end). I bonked(?) crashed in some way hard (last half of marathon was 6 min slower than first half- I had gels at 7,14, 20, and water). I love running and it has really helped me heal mentally and physically and I want to get better. Any training advice to get to the next level? I've already run 90 mph for 2 years and am worried I can't make the big leaps I want to (I want to OTQ! That's my dream goal). Is that a silly goal? Have I leveled out? Is 5'4 and 115 laughable for a marathon woman? Thanks.
Sam
