I'm a Senior thats been looking to break 17 for a while right now. The season got off to a rough start, and it wasn't looking likely (I ran 18:30) first race.
After that, I ran 17:49 at our main course, which was my PR was Junior year. Sophomore year I ran 18:47, Freshman year I ran 21:54.
In my second race of the season at my main course, I ran a 17:14, a 35 SECOND pr.
Today I have another race there. Can I break 17?
We don't do any workouts at all, and only run about 15mpw. I do 10+ mile long runs on the weekend though.
