They keep showing empty cheer zones instead of any running. Have been up for 45 mins and seen maybe 2 mins. of running.

Nbc Chicago coverage is officially crap. I hope they show more of the race later than they are now.

I'm so happy that this stream is teaching me how to edit a photo for my Instagram.

YOUR coverage is officially crap.
Mo looks so good.

There have been a lot of dewpoint threads over the years. This is one of the better ones:

According to you, the winning time in Beijing would be about 2:12 in 2008. These conditions are vastly better. According to your reasoning, it is better to have it 70 (59%) or even 75 (50%) when the dew point is 55 rather than a temperature of 58 (RH=90%).
Note also that the wind is out of the NE, not NW as someone stated and has slowed to 6mph (at 10m up, so about 4mph at race level) and much below a forecast from yesterday (17, gusts to 25).
I really forgot how much I hated watching marathons sometimes. The coverage is horrible and makes me annoyed. The commentators aren’t bad at least.
Mo to the front!

I don't get this guy.
We wants to break 2:11:00, 1:05:30 pace. Yet he says "I could NEVER go out in 1:06:00 pace." Um, 1:06 pace for the first 8 miles would be PERFECT for you, guy.
Why he wants to go 15 seconds per mile faster than he can handle...who knows.
Parker seems like a nice kid, and everyone who knows him seems to totally love him, but I swear to God, I think he's brain-damaged.
Every time he gets a camera in his face, he blathers on about 'having the guts to lay it all out there' and other such stupidity, then he gets cheered on by boatloads of morons (mostly here on LR), then he goes out way faster than he's capable of running, then he blows up horribly. Rinse, repeat,...
So here this is supposed to be his 'breakout' race, and here he is doing the same juvenile, moronic crap yet again.
He'll go out at 2:05 pace for the first 8 or 10 miles, and he'll be walking in the last 5, once again.
A guy who's talked up as a real prospect, but has a freaking 2:18 PB.
Judging by his idiotic start here, he'll still be 2:18 tomorrow.
Todd Williams might as well not be watching the race:
"The athletes are using the pace setters as they should" while they are 25 feet behind them.
Mo and Abel didn't watch the sub-2 exhibtion apparently because they are giving the pacers a bit too much space
Is it written "Sir Mo" on Mo's Bib ?!
Oh no, Telemundo is also branching off to "street coverage" !

This coverage is terrible. Who the hell wants to hear about spectators' plans for cheering on their friends?!?!?
You sound kind dumb.
Many people do. The 100 people following this on LetsRun do not represent "normal." :) Most people would be bored senseless just watching the lead back for two hours.
I'm sure that number is in the thousands...
For anyone interested, up in St. Paul, Sara Hall just beat Molly Huddle by 1 second FTW at the TC 10 Miler. 52:47. Emma Bates another 3 sec back in 3rd
29-flat through 6 miles, ~2:06:36 ?
So after splitting between 4:46 and 4:48 for the first five miles, the elite men back way off for mile 6 with a 5:03.
They said that they were running into a fairly strong headwind for that mile.

Telemundo is doing every NBC English feed schtick a few minutes later in Spanish. Same producers.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
