New runner here and new to the forum. I’m a cyclist that’s wanting to transition into running but I’m having a problem with pacing. Generally I can handle 7:15-7:25 min/mile pace for the easy runs, but they always beat up my legs. So I’m wondering if I should stick with that pace and hope my legs build up strength for it or should I run a minute slower or even slower and slowly increase the intensity and build up to that pace?
