I'd love to know what the family plan for the race was. You have to think this wasn't what they were hoping for.
The brothers had discussed several scenarios, starting at the back and easing up to front was one (as happened), Filips muscles had tightened because of the spike injury, Henrik did as expected, could maybe been third had he started his finish earlier, I also agree that Jakob faded at the end, but he had then been at the lead for 800 meters and that is tough and takes away finishing power, which many of us know.
Filip definitely cost Henrik a medal. Henrik was well positioned coming into the final 200m, and FIlip just kept going backwards, which resulted in Henrik having no where to go. I think Henrik expected Filip (maybe part of their prerace plan) to have more in the tank, and he was gonna follow him to the finish.
