If I have any running shoe width other than AA narrow, I get Achilles tendinitis.
A few years ago, I got New Balance 890V4, and these were exceptional. Neutral, sized right, and very light 8 oz. or so, and not too cushiony. Next version of the 890, New Balance quit making the AA. I should have stocked up but wore out my 2 pairs before I knew.
So, I switched to Saucony Ride 10 (AA), which are noticeably heavier and not as springy. Nevertheless, I can run in them without getting injured, so when the Ride 11 was introduced losing the AA width, I stocked up on the 10s.
However, I would really like to find a AA neutral shoes for racing on a track and one for distance training. They need to be as light as the 890. Please suggest shoes for me to look at.
