I dealt with it band syndrome a couple of months ago. The pain was bad, it took about three weeks to recover. From March when I had it, up until the end my track season in the second day of June, after long runs, I would still feel a little tightness and a tiny bit of pain in my knee. I don’t even think I can describe it as pain, it just a bit of tightness. I was not doing long runs everyday since I had track workouts to do as well. Now, as I start to train for cross country, I keep feeling tightness and a little bit of pain and this is now everyday because I am running long distance everyday. I just want something to make this go away. Please someone help me with a remedy or anything to help chronic it band pain. Also, I have tried using the it band strap before and it really does not help me. Someone please help I am desperate.
