I think I've been doing it right:
training with a partner who is slightly slower, doubling, doing relaxed interval or fartlek training and a 5mi tempo
My problem is this: my legs are starting to get tired from lots of miles on hilly terrain. I don't think I'm going too fast on my easy days, because I run for minutes instead of miles, so I don't feel the tendency to push harder than easy pace.
If my legs are tired after a few weeks should I back off or will I be fresh by September (and more importantly- November)?
