I wish my family loved me that much. When I show up to a family gathering people just kinda look at me with a look of disappointment like "Oh well well if it isn't WetGoose"..
That's really awesome to see her supporting her teammates!
She looks like she has retired from running. All that pressure on her must have been crazy. Hope she's happy living her life now.
anyone know if she plans on returning? she's clearly still invested in the sport.

Sarah Baxter Runs one of the Greatest Races in XC History
https://www.flotrack.org/articles/5029352-sarah-baxter-runs-one-of-the-greatest-races-in-xc-historyDid she officially quit running?
Such a shame that after Senior year of HS track, Sarah really never ran again. What happened!!!???? She never made an announcement. Claudia Lane did the same thing but basically said her running form was horrible, and caused her major IT band injuries after Junior year HS. She said she wasn't into running at all anymore once she got to Dartmouth. And Brie Oakley HUGE fail! Why was she an almost 20-year-old HS senior? Never got to see her versus Claudia Lane I don't think. Seems like Brie's parents held her back 3 years in school somewhere along the way (I noticed that one of her eyes is over half inch lower that the other!). She said she had non-stop injuries after High School and gave it up after Freshman year XC at Berkeley. And now we have Jenna Hutchins, who got a BIG inflated ego after Junior year of High School. She left HS a semester early to go to BYU. Massive mistake as a non-Mormon and should have chosen another college. Did NC State, Stanford, Boulder not recruit her? She should have gone go Boulder. I bet NC State and Stanford were glad they did not get her. She ran 1 XC race the past 2 years- last place at the Oklahoma Jamboree in Fall 2022, and one mediocre 5K track race in 2023. Shes slower now than Junior year of HS
A lot of females that this happens to were over trained and under fueled in high school. Athletes need to take a step bale before puberty and let the body develop - for females more isn’t better at the age and what they are doing isn’t sustainable. Then for a lot of them the healthiest option long term in life is to step away from the sport. Ashley brosovan had to step away for years and then was able to return. The damage done in the teen years due to over training and under fueling is real
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
