Gwen says she is no longer very disappointed with her half marathon result: it should have been expected because training for long distances takes time and high weekly mileage Also, since she already ran 5k/ 10k during the triathlon years it is natural to expect that at least FOR NOW she seems better suited to those distances. Finally, she seemed upset that she won't be able to breastfeed Stanley anymore (she won't breastfeed because according to her this is having a negative impact on training).
I was wondering: do you guys think that Gwen can improve a lot her half marathon time? Aren't there plenty of 5k / 10k track athletes who ran fast half in their first attemp? And is the breastfeeding thing real (does it really make a significant difference in performance)?
