I am getting ready to train for my first marathon. My marathon is in October, so I will be starting my training in May. I've never been a runner. Just started enjoying it recently. Right now I'm running 10-15 miles a week (like a 3/3/3/5 or 3/3/7). I'm learning the importance of foam rollers and stretches, thank goodness. But I don't know what supplements to take to help promote body recovery and overall good running health. Right now I take turmeric, glucosamine and fish oil. I've stopped drinking soda, and have cut way back on flammatory foods like breads, dairy and sugars.
What are some supplements/vitamins that you take or can suggest to me?
