Will the great Makh Daddy, the most exciting mid-distance runner in the sport, grace the track with his presence this year?

Not an Olympic year.
I know I’ll be seeing him.
When does his secret ban run out?
i'm almost ready guys, see you soon
That's such a hilarious picture for someone with doping allegations.
Look at that blood. It looks like Molasses.
I'm sure we will. He's the best 800/1500 runner on the planet, maybe the last of a dying breed. Whether because of injury or taking an intentional break it seems to be a good thing considering how poorly the other Olympic medalists performed last year -- Centro last in his heat, Willis eighth.
Does he have any real doping allegations against him or is it just the LR community pointing their doping finger at him? Not saying I think he's clean, just wondering.

It’s all just slander against mighty Makh. Doping or not, he’s the most badass man in mid-d, and he makes it look fun to boot.
I agree, he's always fun to watch.

Hopefully this year.
Those casting stones forget that Manzano's 2nd place that race is just as improbable. Search Letsrun for more discussion about this.

Actually, I’ve defended Makh’s honor from verbal assault more than once. So it’s both.

Whoops. I'll use a take back on this one.
teehee
Believe me people will understand his approach when he's still competitive in the 2024 Games.
He's not been coached by Aden for years either.

A tiger never changes its stripes.
I sure hope he races something in 2018. One of my favorite runners, love his style and that big power stride he has. And of course, any 800, 1500 double medalist jumps towards the top of my personal rankings.
Agreed with all the positive posters in this thread. No legitimate doping accusations, no sketchy TUEs, no secret drop bags filled with questionable pills.
To those saying his on and off performances are clear signs of doping, that is ridiculous. I am inclined to trust an athelete who can perform well when the scrutiny and control is highest, at the Olympics. What is suspicious to me is all these runners who can throw down fast times early in the season at a meet in Kenya where noone is watching, but then seem to have lost that fire when the Olympics and legitimate anti-doping comes around.
Makh Daddy forever.
Failing a test at the Olympics is nothing more than failing an IQ test- plain and simple.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
