I haven't seen anyone on here explain why repealing Net Neutrality is a good thing. Just reflexive "it's regulation so it must be bad" responses and personal attacks.

Does anyone here understand how much Netflix has grown since 2015? Nationally, something like 15% usage to 55% usage, and worldwide single-digit to 70%.
Bottom line here is: If you pay for 100 speed, you should be able to do whatever you want within that 100, like you can now (or could).
Moving forward, the ISPs want to charge you for what you're doing within what you're already paying, unless you use their "innovative" services. In other words: Higher rates.
You Republican shills are disgusting, anti-American, anti-freedom elitists. Step all over everyone for a fast buck. Good luck with future elections.

I don't care what side of the fence you're on. This vote helps no one except the ISPs, and having the legislation in place hurt no one except the ISPs. This is pure and simple corruption. Disgusting.
Except they followed the law. So you are completely wrong. This is literally not pure and simple corruption.
Further, no harm has been done. It is all in your imagination.
Further, no one should be hurt by a law whether they are a little or an ISP. What you are saying is digusting.
Further, there benefits to people other than ISPs. Seems like you don't really understand what net neutrality is.
What are all these losers aka Millennials going to do. Either face bankruptcy or go outside. Looking forward to how this one pans out!

Except that Democrats supported this too. Also, what does net neutrality have to do with being anti-American or anti-freedom? And exactly who is making a fast buck from this in the Republican party?

repealing net neutrality rules is a disaster for everyone except the isp's and the politicians they donated to. startups, for instance, may face impossible hurdles when the keys to the internet are now in comcast's hands.
Thank you, spam-posting lib-bot. Here's some CAPITAL LETTERS for you, as compensation.

Okay, educate me. What are the benefits?

Point out the Democratic FCC member who voted to do away with Net Neutrality.
Thanks for stifling innovation, 'pubs.

Well, there's already that for one.
The fact that the FCC over-reach burdened many startups to the benefit of established actors seems to be "hidden" for some reason, probably because some consumers only understand simple billing methods where they pay for more things they don't want.
Or you could watch the video of the FCC chair, read just about any non-leftist commentary on "Net Neutrality", et cetera, but I can't make you drink knowledge in the end.

+1
The FCC is getting ready to overturn #NetNeutrality. If they succeed, ISPs will be able to split the net into packages. This means that you will no longer be able to pay one price to access any site you want.
Yes! Maybe they'll do the same package-splitting for #ObamaCare, so I'm not compelled to buy insurance for gender dysphoria in my post-retransitioning era.
Bottom line: prices will move to reflect reality, rather than giving garbage the same rates as value. Supply & demand will win out, not nanny-state "equality" tropes. I won't need to de facto pay for others to access their PornHub anymore, and similarly you won't have to pay for my SecondAmendment.org browsing.
Libruhls don't want "neutrality."

Never hear them complain about the left-wing idealogues Mark Cuckerberg and Eric Schmuck who control the content of the internet.

I've read plenty on it - why can't anyone articulate it on here? Why am I the lazy sheep for asking for such?

The internet flourished for 25 years completely, utterly unregulated before the misnomered net neutrality law. If you say repealing it will “kill” the internet, you’re simply the dumbest f*ck alive and there is no point in arguing with you.
Agreed 100%
Hard to convince the sheep that only listen to and believe the leftist media that simply distort or lie about every news story to fit their agenda.

I think your best education would be to learn how to use a search engine.
Here are your key words: benefits of ending net neutrality, what is net neutrality really

Heck, I'm not even a political/partisan person, but more and more it just seems as though Republican politicians are out to stick it to the little guy. Or at least anyone who isn't extraordinarily rich. WTH?
I don't mean to be personally attacking you, but I just want to point out that you admit you are not a political person. This implies that you don't pay very close attention to the political events and arguments. And then you say it seems like the republicans are against the poor. Has it ever occurred to you that this impression of the republicans is exactly the picture the main stream media wants to paint for those who don't pay close attention? I suggest you actively seek out more information for yourself. Read some books. Read articles from a variety of viewpoints. And for the love of God, do not rely on heavily edited interviews to form your opinions. Find sources that transmit everything a person has to say on a topic within the full, un-edited, context of the conversation.

Cable internet companies will start changing their packages. It will start with the expansion of data caps along with zero-rating for web services the company owns or has a partnership with (e.g. Comcast has a stake in Hulu so they might let you stream from Hulu without counting against your data cap, but Netflix will count against it). Eventually they will start offering cheap packages that basically only allow you to use certain websites, like buying bundles of cable TV channels. The current unlimited and neutral internet styles will disappear or become much more expensive.
Edit: Or they would do a less customer-visible route of shaking down the web services themselves to stop the ISP from throttling traffic to their site, the cost of which the web service would have to pass on to their customers.

Content is not access. This is (or at least should be) a different debate.
