Hello all, I need Letsrun’s pool of knowledge!
A little background. Just finished up my final season of cross country and will be graduating in a week. I got a job as an engineer and will be moving at the start of the new year. This fall I went from 26 low 8k guy to 25 low and running around 31-low in the 10k.
To all the runners out there who continued to seriously compete past college, how did you do it? I cant imagine working fulltime and putting in the 80-90 mile weeks it took me to get as faster.
One more thing, did your significant others understand what you were doing and support your decision to train hard for more years?
I really just want some insight and advice from those of you that done it and improved majorly from college when having a full time job amd being married. But if you have funny responses that is cool too.
Thanks in advance.
