So I'm at an age where I'm no longer a teenager who straight up cannot gain weight no matter how much I eat. I work a true desk job(spare me the suggestions to get up and walk around, I do it all I can) but still run between 50-70 miles a week, as opposed 50-100 (very few occasions on that 100 end) as my college range.
I am kind of surprised how little I need to eat to be comfortable now. When I finish a long run or workout, I'm all like "OH YEA TIME TO STUFF MYSELF" and then I end up being satasfied like halfway through that. And then I finish whatever I'm having because, you know, eating is nice.
I used to be all about eating right away after a run, but now I don't need anything for like an hour.
My questions are: is this normal? How much backing off in terms of volume of food can I get away with? Those Older than me(most of you I'm guessing), how do you manage your weight/stay and get lean while also having energy to train at a decent level?
