Texas A&M posted a position today. I'm assuming this is Francique's position. Considering he left so long ago, it's surprising that they are just posting it now.

Sparks is a good guy, has great recruits coming in, and he qualified women in distance at the 1500, 5000, and 2 at the 10k last year - his position group. Let’s see what he can do with his own system and people.
Heard he is a snake in the grass. Back stabbed Turner. Fired Garnham. The great distance recruits are men that Carlson recruited with Turner directing. Sparks didn't recruit any men and the distance women who performed were already there when he arrived, he didn't recruit them.
He was the assistant cross country coach at Montana State.
The most DISAPPOINTING major hiring of the summer.
Shame on the Notre Dame administration!

It’s a toss up for sure, but I’m still giving the nod to the Floreal hire at Texas.
Erdmann's son named head coach. Papa Erdmann still staying on as Coach Emeritus.
Floréal was easily the best hire of the summer but sure keep drinking your kool aid
kentucky has posted assistant positions for the sprints/hurdles/jumps and director of operations. so looks like throws coach is staying...

Was he a paid coach? I think he was a GA or volunteer...

No Surprise here, it was his job to inherit, was prob in the will.
Looks like throws jobs are going to slow up real quick with only one job opening and the other power 5 gig going no throw.

And the distance coach is staying? That points to Herbster staying at UT.

Amen brother. Men’s CC was already on life support and Reggie Brooks is the grim reaper.
He was a GA, volunteer, and part-time over 4 years.
Where did you see this? All staff is still listed along with their bios. It shows one assistant opening on the website.

Don't believe the rumors, Washington is hiring a throws coach.

How many of you kids have already reached out to give Matt Sparks a hand job today? Probably half the posters to this thread.

I don’t see that one posted on their website...
Throws
Stanford is Open
LSU is Open
Washington is possibly Open
Kentucky/Purdue throws still being decided behind close doors
All of these are power 5 jobs that could possible create some decent movement here in the next few weeks
