Melvin Carter won the mayoral race as well. One of the greatest HS sprinters in MN history.

He doesn't post here, does he? That'd be a huge red flag.

As a minneapolis resident, I'm excited that we have a runner as our mayor. Even though that means nothing.

Interesting but he bounced back quickly and is married again mugging for the cameras with her any chance he can get. Although like most politicians something seems a tad insincere about him - like he is a closeted Republican. But props to Minneapolis - white males born into middle to upper class families are really underrepresented in leadership positions in our society.

Someone should probably update his wikipedia page. Has no mention of his first marriage.

Here is an interesting article where his first wife talks about how her running drastically improved once the divorce was over.

Anyone who knows Michelle and Jacob personally know his wikipedia page is full of lies, half truths, and strategically leaves out his personal and professional failures, like the divorce and his first campaign for State Senate which he lost. The page must be maintained by someone in his campaign. Also his claim of moving to Minneapolis because he feel in love with the city during the Twin Cities Marathon? LOL. He moved to Minneapolis because Michelle joined Team USA Minnesota and it is the only place he got a job offer post law school. A total narcissistic sociopath. Good luck to him, he'll need it.

He's probably so pissed he's just the Mayor now that Franken's seat is open. He is all about climbing the political ladder as quickly as possible. I hope he gets exposed. It is amazing nothing about his first marriage leaked during the mayoral race. He really got lucky. There is a lot there...
