DCG
Klamm stays on top, but this year, a different duo of brothers get on the podium. DCG getting some good speed work in before nats
600: Klamm
Supinski
Krogman
MIAC record-holder won't go down this year. It will be a tight race for the first 450, but then Klamm pulls away from Supinski. Krogman has had enough in the 800 and SMU coach wants to score in more events. He shows up in and wins the chase pack
EVENT TO WATCH AT MIAC
800: Wachter
JCG
Sandberg
The 800 is WIDE open assuming Donson chooses to stay fresh leading up to NCAAs. His brother showed immense gains in the outdoor 800 and chases down the Darkhorse from GAC for a thrilling second-place finish. Wachter hangs on for the win
1000: DCG
Hatton
Wachter
Ricks would be dumb not to put Donson in the 1000 for some really easy points. He pulls away from Hatton at on the backstretch after 650.
Mile: DCG
O'Hare
W. Anderson
Donson will break the MIAC record in the Mile gapping everyone. O'Hare comes back with the spirit of the GOAT Jovan in him. Oles score a few, but Ketola chokes and is beaten out by his teammate William
3k: PT
Silky Wilky
Barnhart
Timm is Olaf's only chance at Nats this year and he knows it. He pulls off a 10 second drop at MIAC to win it for the Oles
Barnhart has what it takes to place third splitting up the Northfield monopoly. A throws coach from St. Thomas gets ejected for intentionally running onto the homestretch.
5k: Lerdall
Mueller
Lelinga
Freshmen show up in the 5k. Lelinga runs out of the slow heat and sneaks into the top 3. Lerdall runs away with it.
DMR: St. Olaf
Bethel
Hamline
Very front heavy with deep teams that always stack this one; nothing too fancy. The pipers finally have a chance with everyone returning and a great cross season.
Team:
1. St. Thomas
2. Carleton
3. St. Olaf
Cross season told us that the Knights are deep. I think they can beat the Oles twice in a year.
