I've heard from a very reliable source that LetsRun.com co-founder Weldon Johnson will be making his 2005 racing debut tonight in a 5k at Cornell University at 8:30 pm in a special twilight meet. Conditions are expected to be near ideal 55 degrees zero wind.

Ithaca, NY- Weldon Johnson, aka Wejo, putting on a brilliant performance at 5000m at the Ithaca Twilight meet on Thursday night, breaking the magical 15:00 minute barrier, clocking 14:53, decimating the field in the process. Only one of the other three runners in the race could even finish.
"I decided to make it a pure guts race," said Wejo who led wire to wire in the non-under the lights (dark) race. After Nike decided to sponsor the Oregon Twilight meet instead, the race organizers could not afford to turn on the lights.
"I'm sure a lot of guys will look at this result and know that I'm back." Wejo's time is believed to be less than one minute off of his 5000m pr.
Snoop Dogg in town to play at the Slope Day concert on Friday witnessed the stunning display on the track. "Total dominance fo' Wejo. That shiznit wuz crazy. Know what I'm sayin'?"
