however, it's still nonsense officiating
there is nothing mentioned about the athlete having the right to demand that a foul be measured & then recourse to higher officials after the meet to see if athlete was correct in his appeal & having throw/jump re-instated
it's still nonsense situation, same as dendy who had what looked a questionable foul of 8.70+ in peking or the King who had a 30' one ruled a foul back in '82 which he vehemently said was no-foul but officials woudn't measure it
you can have a 100 officials at the meet for an event but if they don't measure the throw/jump initially it is still same nonsense as before
