The makwala line is pretty good. A lot of people are jumping to bet on WVN since hes big right now, which pushes his line up. Same deal with the Bolt race. I'd say throw a bit on Degrasse, and maybe a bit on Blake, decent chance one of those two wins.

I believe those are all the running events that have bets currently. All of them go deeper than the ~4 names posted, but I didn't include people that have no reasonable chance. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking the same for makwala, but I'm nervous because he's run 43.x before and done nothing at worlds. Also the hundred seems like a crapshoot to me.

Yeah, but I think that's what makes Degrasse and Blake good picks. Bolt just does not deserve a -200 line.

Agreed, Bolt definitely doesn't deserve -200. I'm not sure Degrasse and Blake have a 50% chance to win between them, though.

Every year Bolt holds back before the championships and always has betting lines such as this. He is never the overwhelming favorite. But he always manages to win when it counts, except for that one false start at worlds he has not been beaten. I'm betting $2000 on Bolt -200 to profit $1000. He wants to go out a winner. He has visited Dr Healing Hans so he is serious once again.

True very true. Korir is more likely than Amos. Bolt isn't white hot this year. Caster 800m yes. Hassan will definitely medal in the 1500m. Ayana 10k. 1500m is wide open but with 4 in the pool Kenya has a massive advantage.

Korir was +1000 before the Monaco race.

If +600 means 6:1 for Kam to beat Mo in the 10 k i think it is fairly good.
