I went trail running last weekend which had some pretty steep downhill sections, then Tuesday did a rolling hill road run. Now my left knee is fairly swollen (above the knee cap/outside knee). The weird thing is it isn't painful , just stiff and takes a mile or so to loosen up. Its been fairly swollen since Wednesday. Anyone here have any ideas... It is a bit concerning since today seems to be a little more swollen then it has been. Its been a busy week so I havent been icing but will do that today. Should I get checked out or am I worrying too much and itll start calming down.
Side note: tried a 1 leg squat on left leg with no pain, moved leg a few directions and put weight on it several ways to test, all no pain.
I'm confused!
