My comments:
1. I don't believe pacemaker drafting had as big an impact on Kimetto's WR as suggested. It is not deliberate and planned like cycling, and is more random.
2. I agree the car has a small impact on the perfect Diamond set-up of the pacers but I would love to see how that changes with imperfect set-up as it looks like the Human only set-up has minimal margin for error if someone is out of sync. - more modelling please!!!!
3. Don't forget the Flat Course & no corners plus the important lack of slowing for liquid (see Farah in London)

All of this begs the question which part of the 4% is down to the shoes???
In order of impact:
1. Drafting
2. Flat Course with no corners
3. No slowing for Water
