So, looking at the proximity of the pace car and the size of the pace clock in other World Major Marathons, and then also watching the entire Kipchoge run very closley, I see two things:
1) other world major marathons have cars very close to the front runners and pace clocks of equal or near-equal size as the Nike Sub-2 pace clock. Further, some Wold Majors have lead vehicles with stadium seating provided for a front row spectating experience for a lucky few - this is significantly more of a wind-blocker than the Nike Tesla.
2) The pace car was actually a good distance ahead of the pace group for a good majority of the race, not providing a ton of wind resistance reduction, and further, Kiphchoge was 2-3 strides behind the pacers for a good majority of the run.
I'm not buying that it was a 2min advantage. I'd like to see a marathon on the same track with a pace car further ahead (for the doubters), water stations where runners have to grab their own fluids (just make it more easily accessible than see at a typical marathon, and no sub-in pacers - have Bekele, Kimetto, Mutai, Kipsang all in the same run with Kipchoge on the F1 track.
