I'm tired of lazy ass DI Coaches trying to pilfer talented NAIA, DII, and DIII kids. Get your ass up do some evaluations on kids. Stop letting other schools develop kids and then steal them with the "allure" of running DI.

That's not what that word means.
Yes,
How dare those athletes leave to get a degree from a prestigious university. They should stick with Podunk College and get their associates so they can become insurance and car sales people.
Kids don't leave podunk U to go to Duke, Ivy League Schools, or any other prestigious school. DI schools think they can come in any time they want and take a kid from a smaller division for the simple fact they are DI.
You're right. Steal is a better word. Sorry my bitterness blinded me.
If they liked you they would stay. They don't so they leave. And so it goes - you suck.
I used to coach at a successful NAIA school. Every year we would get random, unsolicited release forms via fax from Power 5 schools. The athletes, who were named on the forms, didn't request them. Those programs were in need. The coaches were on the hot seat. They were fishing in order to save their jobs.
I can't really blame for trying, but it certainly wasn't ethical.
Perhaps you mean "poaching"?
