Just a little background information. Freshman year I had a PR of 3:57 and then lowered it last year to 3:54. Now that I am getting into the bulk of the season I was just wondering what a good goal time for me would be and what potential I may have.
Recent workouts have been:
5x300 average 44 with diagonal jog across the infield
10x400 average 62 with 200m rest
3x1k average 2:55 3x400 average 63 everything 200m rest
So far this season I have ran 3:58, but have not got into a fast race. I only have one more shot at a fast time and was not wanting to go out over my head. Any recommendations on goals?
