so i'm in high school and a part of a very good team so we train pretty hard. it's my second year and both cross country season have been sooo bad due to dead legs. indoor track has been going insanely well both years and both summer training have been great also. freshman year outdoor track was horrible also due to dead legs. it's starting up again now and i feel it in my legs and my training has been going so well i don't want to ruin it. how do i get rid of the dead legs? it's mainly on my thighs and the worst on hills(although we usually don't run them during track season). why does this only happen during XC and outdoor track? I did a very hard run at the end of indoor track and it went great. in between indoor and outdoor track i did it again a few days after taking a week off (this all follows the coaches workout plan) and then today (5days before first outdoor meet) i couldn't do the SAME run. anything will help. please and thank you
