I've said all along that I don't think the godless Trump will give up. He won't resign. He'll just fight it out and try to run out the clock until he is removed from office one way or another.
The only way he gets impeached and removed is if Democrats take the house and the senate in November. There is no way they can take the senate by a large enough margin to convict. Some Republicans would have to go along as well.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that the most likely outcome is that Mueller recommends impeachment and the whole thing drags on until elections in 2020. The voters are left to decide.
The other outcome is that Mueller decides to seek an indictment instead of or in addition to seeking impeachment. I'd put indictment at odds of 50/50.
