They are just now, since pre-season, getting everyone healthy.
Their passing connection from Ben to Antonio is unstoppable.

They very well could win it all. For the past 7 games they have put up some great stats that can rival anyone in the NFL. They just always do something to place a seed of doubt in my mind though, like going into overtime against the Browns. I know they rested their best players but most of the starting defense was on the field.
They are making for some exciting games though. When the 3 Bs are clicking I don't think anyone can stop them.
During that 7 game streak they have seen primarily average or below average teams. However, sometimes that is what it takes for individuals to gain confidence and a team get dangerous over time. The best thing in their favor is that the top teams NE, KC, and NFC Dallas, Seattle, & GB, none are dominant. All are good but things are still wide open for the most part. A hot Steelers team could steal it all as could the others.
Like a runner winning over average opponents, at some point they believe they belong with the big boys and it becomes self-fulfilling.
As a Steelers fan I am very pleased that ownership, management, and a consistent coach staff has kept Pittsburgh in the conversation into the playoffs nearly every year.
No one is beating New England. That makes me sad but it is a fact.
New England will be tough for sure but Steelers can beat them if they bring their A game. If the O puts up 30+ points, which they are capable of doing, and our defense shows up then the games is ours. And our D is much improved over what you saw in the first 5 or 6 games of the season.
First they need to take some revenge on Miami this weekend.
I don't think the Steelers will win in Kansas City. Although KC lost to Tampa Bay and Tennessee at home so anything is possible.
The problem is trying to win on the road at Arrowhead AND Gillette on consecutive weeks. Those are notoriously difficult venues to play in. And in addition to NE's AFC best offense, Patriot defense is allowing just 15 points a game this year. So the idea of hanging 30+ up in Foxborough feels a little far fetched, right?
They'll get a free win against Miami who has been ravaged by injuries. I think half of Miami's opening day starting roster has changed. The Dolphins also benefitted from a very easy schedule. They actually beat Pitt, but things have changed a lot since then since Pitt was missing players that game and now Miami is missing key players. New England is beatable, but they seem to have Pittsburgh's number. They will focus on stopping Brown and Bell and exploiting Pitts defensive weaknesses. I'm predicting a Patriots Giants super bowl for the third time with Brady finally beating the Giants.
I think the Giants will lose this weekend. The Packers just seem to be on one those hot streaks that could go all the way to the SB.

There is a good reason Patriots are ranked number 1.
This will be the first time that Ben, Bell and Brown have played in the playoffs together for the Steelers. If they click, it will be hard to stop both Bell and Brown. Ben just can't afford to make mistakes and turn the ball over against the Patriots.
Will make for a good game.

You are right that this will be a tough game, if they don't look past the decimated Dolphins. However, certain schemes of teams seem to click or die against certain schemes of other teams. It is rare that the Steelers don't play exceptionally well against KC, Indy, & Buffalo like they did earlier this season although KC was at Pittsburgh. They also struggle against certain teams like Phil., Balt., & NE any time they play. I am hopeful that this holds true at KC if Pitt gets that far.
Defense has different personnel from early season as Burns & Davis progressed which is helping average safeties and allowing Gay to play in the slot instead of against the other team's top receiver. The better backfield is allowing a little more time for the improved line to put pressure on the QB. NE is great at play calls that force LB's in a 3-4 to drop allowing Brady all day to pass. Scary.
The Chiefs are like 10-21 all time vs the Steelers so Pittsburgh has had their number. The Chiefs defensive strength (pass rush) is negated by Roethlisberger being incredibly tough to sack. I think if Bell gets 100 yards rushing than Steelers win. If the Chiefs could hold Bell to under 100, then they could win a game like 20-17. The Chiefs have been an easy out at home in the playoffs so maybe this year is different.
Special teams could come into play if the two teams play. Pittsburgh's has been horrible and KC's outstanding. Hill is as dynamic as they come and scares this fan every time he touches the ball.

Only 1 Steeler win in the last 3 meetings @ KC...
Chiefs are 1-8 in their last 9 playoff games. 4 of the games were at home. The last playoff win at Arrowhead was against the Steelers in...........1994.
O'Donnell vs Montana.

At that win was earlier this year and Steelers are a much better team now.

No. The October game was @ Heinz.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
