Looking for a place in the US with warm weather and dirt roads with good footing. Any suggestions?
Angeles National Forest
Clermont, FL (30 minutes from downtown Orlando) has a 10 mile loop of clay roads with some of the few hills that you can get in Florida outside of the panhandle. World class triathletes are out there consistently, and some world class distance runners are out there from time to time.
If you go out there in the summer though, you have to start before sunrise because there is no shade on the loop and the heat and humidity will be awful.
