I'm driving 8-9 hours to go visit my family for a week. I'll be leaving from work at 5 pm Friday. It turns out there's a great 5k that Saturday morning, but it starts at 9:15 am.
I'd arrive at 12-1 am after a very long day and get 5-6 hours of sleep. I can wake up at about 6:45 and be on site at 7:30 to pick up my packet. That should give me time to wake up / warm up, but I'm not sure how I'll feel. Its just a local 5k (who cares and such), but I'd rather skip it if I'm going to feel particularly bad. Thoughts?
