3 a day? 6 a day?
3 a day? 6 a day?
For some time now I've been making homemade bagels, and I just eat two for breakfast. But I could eat two for each meal and enjoy it by using different types of bagels or just different toppings, eg cream cheese at breakfast, ham and cheese at lunch, pizza bagels for dinner.
3 a day is too many.
Unless you are Clayton Kershaw in which case 9 is perfect.
Imagine how good a bagel would be if it didn't have a hole in the middle

You've convinced me. Next time instead of bagels, I'm making boiled buns.

^This. You should never eat any bagel for the rest of your life.
It is made of grains, which make you scrawny fat.

Bagels today are YUGE. Like, 2-3 times larger than they used to be. Eat one with some nut butter and then eat some fruit. Decent meal.

Yeah, 3 grams protein, 6 grams fat, 123 grams carbohydrates. perfect for a scrawny dude wanting to put a little spare tire on.

Key question. Most bagel are simple carbs and are not good for you.
Sure if you are young and you run a lot you can eat them and you won't put on weight, but you can eat healthier than that ( if its important to you).
Carbs and sugar. Enjoy.

My staple post long-run meal is 3 full sized bagels with cream cheese and lox. Nobody can convince me there is anything better than that.
Not sure where u got that from but Your average bagel has about 10g protien and 70 grams carbs. I eat 1 or 2 a day. Love bagels
