please tell me you mean 3.2..
So you would be starting college in 2018?
If you are starting in 2018 and if the other poster is correct and you actually have a 3.2, this is your year to do school work. You have a shot at bringing it up to a 3.4. Go buy a SAT or ACT prep book and ACTUALLY USE IT. With a 3.4 from a 3.9ish junior year, test scores that support a 3.4 and those times many state universities will be interested.
If you are starting in 2018, if you can get a 3.2 average this year you would have a 2.6 average overall. There are lots of state universities with directions in their name, like South Eastern XXXXXX State University who would give you a shot if your test scores are right around their average.
If you would be starting in 2017, you have no time to improve your grades and will be headed to community college. Community college can be a great running experience but you also need to make sure to improve your grades if you hope to run when you get to a four year college.
I wish. But my schools on a different scale so on a normal one it'll be 2.6 i think they said but im leaving and going to a different school that will help my gpa im aiming for a 2.9 or 3
I start 2017. So basically im heading to community college
those aren't good times. Looks like you could make an ok 400 runner. Look at walking on at a distance school that doesn't put much into sprints or field. Hey, but there is no way you could improve without going D1 right...
Dear Ricky:
A legit 10.6 (FAT Timing) will let you walk onto a Div. I program that is not distance orientated (P5 or mid-major).
The main issue is your grades. By being on the bubble academically, no college can really recruit you. You absolutely NEED a 2.5 (C grade) to be considered, if you get your GPA into the 3s you are now a "safe" choice.
Another factor in having a just ok GPA is you can not really get that many scholarships - trust me, you want as many of those bad-boys as possible.
Your 10.6 100m in a good program and with a lot of desire will drop down to 10.2 maybe less by the time you graduate.
Do not listen to negative talk, be a good person, hit the books like your life depends on it (it actually does), run fast and stay healthy.

I agree. Get the grades up and study for the SAT. You can always go to a smaller school and moveup The last kid from where I live was only a 10.7 some wind aided faster went to a small school then transferred to Texas A&M after he won his conference and had a 10.3, He juiced, but nice kid. He was juicing in HS. His back was covered with acne and he gained weight and got alot faster in 1 year. 11.0 to 10.7 electric legit.
Get an education it will lead to alot. The kid grad. for Texas A&M went to the trials, eliminated 2nd round. You got the ticket Ricky lol
Did nobody even care to look at that 46.5 400 time? That will get him scholarship money at most D1's that aren't distance oriented. That is a top 15 nationally ranked time most years. I do agree that the grades need to go up though.

He would be top 10 in the nation in the 400 in high school. Moron
Thanks I appreciate it a lot
Did you fail any classes in the past? If so you can find a way to replace those I believe a few different ways. Talk to your high school counselor and definitely research online. Take school seriously for the next year and you'll be okay. Nothing wrong with 2 years of community college though. It will be competitive experience and may improve your chance of landing a scholarship at a big name school if you work hard academically and athletically the next 3 years. Stay focused on big picture!
