How many now believe Haile Gebresellasie was clean during the 7 years there was no EPO test?
Has your opinion changed recently?
If not do you believe he would have ran faster with EPO?

I think he used it at least once

I am open to the possibility he was clean, but wouldn't be surprised at all if he wasn't. Yes, my opinion has changed somewhat recently. I think this latest incident does raise more suspicion among top Ethiopians, past and present.

Yes
Last few months
I don't think it made that big of a difference e that he did use it
i dont believe he was clean, and i dont believe most top tier ethiopians are clean, either.i read he had pb's of 3.33.79, 12.39.36, 26.22.75 and 2.03.59.3 of those times are just as ridiculous, every bit as ridiculous, and unbelievable as genzebe dibaba, and the chinese women of the 90s.i think in reality he was a 3.40 1500 metre runner,13.20 5000 metre runner,27.40 10'000 metre runner, and about a 2.10 marathoner.

I agree with you although 20 years ago I thought a little differently.
Like many I saw what happened in cycling in the 1990s with all the police raids and drugs busts but I still entertained the idea that distance running was mosltly a clean sport at the top level as I did not think that East Africans would be cheating.
Since then I have just seen one drug scandal after another over the last 5 years with so many Ethiopians reported to be on meldonium and the Jama Aden fiasco which had many Ethiopian athletes implicated. On top of that, the sport's governing bodies and race organizers have essentially turned a blind eye to doping in Track and Field and seem to bust only who they want to for mainly political reasons. For example the Dibaba sisters are allowed to race in Barcelona this week shortly after being found in a hotel with Jama Aden along with vast quantities of EPO, steroids and other PEDs. It seems that doping can pay big time and Haile has become an extremely rich man in his country and in many ways I cannot blame him given his background. What would anyone else do if faced with a future of tedious farm work and living in a mudhut for the rest fo your life?
I don't believe he was clean.
It's changed somewhat recently I suppose. For a few years now I've thought that he was probably doping but maybe he was clean. Now I think there is no way he was clean.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
