Link to article if anyone is interested. Nice to see running featured in 'mainstream' media.
Mike currently runs for UVA.

As I write this at nearly 6:30 pm back east on Thursday, the audio is available. At the upper left of the link given above you should see a white triangle inside of a light blue dot. That's the start button for the audio. The story is 5:33 in length. Nice story!
Fantastic story! As a former ACC runner, I congratulate Mike on his recovery and ridiculous T&F accomplishments.
Bumping this back since audio is available. It is a quick listen as pointed out above.
I caught this story on the radio during my run yesterday afternoon. I definitely recommend it as well! It's always good to see or hear stories about running in the mainstream media. Best of luck to Mike in the future as well.
I wonder if Mike is on LR. It would be interesting to hear from him and how his story made it national. Pretty cool.
Out yourself Mike
Dude can't count to 9 but gets into UVA?
But seriously, congrats Mike.

Good article.
Brojos should link this to front page. It isn't everyday that running gets this kind of attention.

Yep - he went to my high school (Chariho Regional - RI) and was a member of the 4xmile team that held the indoor national record a few years ago and runner-up for the Millrose HS mile in 2012. Good kid.
Oh, and technically, he's run a sub-4 mile during the 2015 indoor season

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
