I am working my way up to 60 miles a week by the end of the summer.
Here is my plan:
Week 1: 20-25 miles per week
Week 2: 30-35miles per week
Week 3: 40-45 miles per week
Week 4: 45-50 miles per week
Week 5: 50-55 miles per week
Week 6: 55-60 miles per week
I ran around 30-40 miles per week for most of last year, but I didn't have a smart progression. Also my weekly schedule wasn't very structured (ex: Sunday Long run, etc.). I would appreciate if someone could give me a sample training plan that I could pattern my training after. I am training for my senior year of cross country.
