Doesn't he take Androgel?
Yeah, this guy even says in an interview he has to take Androgel. Lol. So seriously how is this legit?
The older I get the more impressed I am with the times he's still able to run.
I remember when I was in my late 30's and believed I'd always be able to run a sub forty 10K. I guess I naively thought I'd be the exception to the rule, but aging is a rude awakening.
Most 85 yr olds can't even walk a mile.
Is he drug tested?
Congratulations! That is amazing!

You didn't know there has been a thread about this since LAST WEEK when the race was run?
Thanks for the "news".
One of the most amazing age group runners ever! Rewrites what old age means.
Androgel or not, that is amazing.
The earlier thread:
Yes, I actually put this news on the homepage twice in the last week, but Rojo did the homepage updates tonight and probably didn't realize I had already highlighted it.Roy Firestone........... wrote:

Actually, my two updates are still further down on the homepage, so Whitlock's mile is on there three times. Has anyone ever got so much attention for running a 7-minute mile?

Wasn't that long ago he ran 26 of them in a row.

THE GOAT.
He destroys the age graded charts. An bsolute freak of running humanity.

True, but it has stimulated lots of debate about whether AG has greater effects the older you get. So far we have a scientific test sample of...one.

It would also be a sub 7 1500m. Comes out to 6:49 just on by 1500m/1609m.

WTF!? Post a link to this so called interview. He has never said that AFAIK. 0/10. No wonder he doesn't post here anymore. The last interview I read with him said he took no supplements except glucosamine.
Unbelievable that LRC lets this comments stay here. Shameful.

He doesn't take it. Unbelievable where this discussion went. Someone older puts a faster time than most Masters and the jealous people speculate.

The speculators do no discriminate. Young and female are fair game to them--see the Grace Ping threads. The common element is that speculators cannot stand that someone is faster they them at a younger age, and setting times at older ages that they can never touch.
Pure sour-jelly boys. Nothing but sour-jelly.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
