Hey guys, I've been reading this forum for sometime and finally decided to post. I ran track and Highschool and just transferred to a school to run track for the spring semester. The workouts have been pretty intense and so have the lifts. My first meet I ran a 57 400 and 25 200. My Highschool bests were a 53.2 split and 23.1 split. My cardio seems like it's where it should be but my legs have been sore. In some workouts I can't move my legs any faster and come in way slower than the workout pace. What should I be focusing on? Do I have to adjust to a new workout routine? Also, while I wasn't competing at this school I was training on my own since September. Any advice would be appreciated!
