Doesn't get worse than what Galen Rupp did to nikeman yesterday!

James Hogue is probably a better one, lesser known, but much crazier.
Hogue didn't murder anyone. I dont' see how it's comparable.
The Robert Howard story was pretty sad. I knew the guy, just depressing to think about.

OJ Simpson was a track star.
I believe he was a member of USC's WR setting 4x200y relay team.

The body was found in Surry County, NC. This county is between Blacksburg, Va and Winston-Salem, NC. Was he scheduled to race at JDL on Friday? He may have driven down to Winston-Salem on Friday to either compete or watch his teammates compete. On the way to Winston-Salem he decided to ditch the body.
No, it's not just you. Yes, you are a dik hole for posting this. I'm a Hokie, and I don't appreciate it. Dik.
An Oregon 800m was involved in Tupac's murder.
Imagine what prison is going to be like for him.

It was Notorious BIG's murder.

Tragic, sad, horrible.
To add a freakish note, geezus, he looks like a Brojo.
one of the running with the buffaloes guys got in trouble, right?
doesn't seem clear to me that this guy murdered her vs her dying because of lack of meds? feel like i need to know more before i have an opinion of the situation
In 2014 he came in 2nd in 3A states with an incredible time of 15:42 on arguably the toughest xc course in the country. His best 2 mile time is 9:18. I'm miffed how anyone can just throw their life away. This case intrigues me and probably need to wait until the facts come out before making an opinion.

Is it just me, or does Va Tech seem to have lots of really messed up people? I just googled Virginia tech murder incidents, and found 3 different incidents on the first page, none of which are the current incident.
Agreed. Not too long ago this white student there strangled her Indian classmate in a bi-sexual experiment gone wrong.
And then there was the Korean guy who shot up the school killing several people some years back.

In addition, there was the horrific case of the Chinese doctoral student who decapitated the Chinese grad. student in the coffee shop. That case was just awful and so strange. Evidently, she was new on campus and he barely knew her.
maybe it has something to do with being in your early 20s in a place like Blacksburg. Anyhone from there? Is it a depressing place for a 20-something?
Blacksburg is rural, but is a very pleasant, if not idyllic campus. The people tend to be nice, too - I would compare it to Purdue, good, hardworking people with typically a technical bent. Most every alum is fiercely loyal, and look back on their days at Tech with warmth (I am not an alum,by the way, but know literally hundreds of Tech alums).
I think the school is cursed by bad luck. My heart goes out to this poor young woman, who apparently fought a bunch of health problems and just wanted to connect socially after a rugged set of experiences in her young life.
Eisenhaur did not confess or cooperate with police. My inclination is to state that there was some very good police work here. Give credit where credit is due.
Very sad story. Why interview the father who seems to have had very little recent contact with the victim? It said their last interaction was a text message two weeks ago.
And then to find out that she was active on several Facebook "teen dating" sites. Maybe if dad had been a little more present even after the separation, she would not have sought out so much male attention.
Not blaming the victim, it just seems like she is someone who needed help herself and it looks like many of those around her were not paying attention.
Let's wait to see how this plays out. He should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. The remarks by the father seem rather odd, so there may be more to this story than meets the eye.
