If thats what we need to know so far id say they have very little... was he skalking around facebook for young teens? or is this kid naive and jammed up by a veteran detective?

Va. Tech did not run the Camel City Elite races but ran in the earlier events.
Maybe the whole reason he left Yakima,Washington his junior year of high school was to get away from some already problematic behaviors

Had people assumed anything about the perpetrator's race? The guy in that picture looks less than sane, by the way.
Is it just me, or does Va Tech seem to have lots of really messed up people? I just googled Virginia tech murder incidents, and found 3 different incidents on the first page, none of which are the current incident.

Can anyone think of "What was the worse track and field crime/scandal before this?" I'm sure there have been some other alleged murders but can't think of them.

James Hogue is probably a better one, lesser known, but much crazier.
He could have told investigators where the body was. Notice how he was only charged with abduction when arrested, then they find the body, probably not a coincidence.
