4 days out from my meniscus repair with microfracture things were going well swelling going down and the dog just knocked my crutch out and I stepped down on my repaired leg. Hurt like hell but there isnt anymore swelling than there was before. Is it totally fd or just paranoid. I'll be calling the Dr on Monday but trying to put my mind at ease.
You'll be fine. Ice it and rest it... I was reorganizing my garage and not using crutches 2 days after meniscus surgery bc doc hadn't emphasized how important crutches were... And the pain meds had me thinking I felt fine. Doc was not pleased w my choice when I went for post op visit and I had to spend an extra week probably healing w one crutch but it's almost 10 yrs post procedure and I'm no worse for wear.... Fwiw I put off the procedure forever and looking back best move ever to get it done. The rehab is a pain but quality of life improvement is huge!
