Any thoughts?
I use lunaracer as my flats but lunar flyknits as my trainer. I know some guys use lunaglides for there trainers.
Saucony Kinvara is similar.
Kinvara is junk. Adidas boost Boston
I agree the boost sole is great, but the upper tore out one me in maybe 200 miles, at the flex point on the big toe. Therefore not a good investment at way over $100. Lunar tempo is a good shoe initially but the soles seem to go dead faster than most shoes, though I still think they're a decent buy. Kinvara is not junk. It's a good shoe for tempo runs and you can wear it for everything if you like lighter shoes. Also lasts like mad compared to adios boost or lunaracer, but the upper is very loose in the toes no matter how tight you lace it.
It comes down to what you prefer in terms of fit & sole, they're all pretty good.
Try the new balance 1400
The kinvara feels like you're running in clown shoes. Not only are they too wide for the average person, your pinky toe will still blow it of the side. Just because they are light doesn't mean that they feel fast. Try the saucony fastwich.
If the fast twitch is like the original Type A, then agreed. That was more like the Lunaracer, but as far as I know it's long gone.
i've done track workouts and tempos in various models of lunaracers for years, but just wore out my last pair, so i had the same question recently.
i've gone with adidas adizero Takumi-Sen 3 the last month and like them--they're almost exactly the same weight, same flexibility, hoping they're more durable than the lunaracers...
Have you tried the Lunar Tempo? It's basically just a slightly beefed up Lunaracer. Slightly firmer midsole and a more durable outsole.
Thanks for the input! I ran in Kinvara's for a while before trying Lunaracer and just couldn't adapt to how they fit. I'll look into some of the shoes suggested in this post.

False. The Saucony Kinvara line is not junk.
If you liked the fit of Lunaracer, you'll like the fit of Lunar Tempo, pretty much guaranteed. Same tight midfoot/forefoot feel.
