Thanks for the replies, and while i definitely haven't ruled them out yet, washington and oregon really arent my ideal places to live, id like to avoid really big cities if possible, and seattle and portland dont really fit that bill. Also i really dont care for going to a prestigious school, ive never seen it as a priority and would much rather go to a school where I can work and excel and not just fade into the masses.
Colorado school of mines is definitely a choice, but it is really expensive and scholarships are pretty rare.
U of B.C. i dont know anything about, but it seems to be in a pretty big town?
I would probably go UW if i could, but the debt would not be worth it.
If anyone has any advice on schools in colorado to go to, that would be wonderful! Thats my dream state, and i have a good SAT score and gpa, but i dont think that's enough to get a big scholarship there. Is there a good ROTC program there?
And to answer the question about Bozeman, it was a really cool place to visit and i really liked the coach, I know some people that went there through the ROTC program and are doing pretty dang well and enjoying it so i liked that. Ill most likely get it all paid for through rotc for Chemical engineering too, so it would make everything so much easier.
I guess i shouldn't really have said PNW if i'm ignoring the whole coast, sorry about that, but are there any other recommendable places in Montana, Utah , or Colorado that I could go for pretty cheap? Especially Colorado haha, thanks everybody youve been crazy helpful!
