Previous weeks: 25.4, 35.4, 42.2, 50.04, 35.18, 48.4
Goal: 10 runs, and 55 miles
Monday:
AM- 5.2 miles easy @ 7:43 pace
PM- 5.2 miles easy @ 7:12 pace (7:35 1st mile)
Tuesday:
PM- 15 minute tempo @ 5:54 pace, 4x150m sprint, float, sprint w/ 250m jogging recovery + 2.1 mile warm up, and 2.1 mile cool down
Wednesday:
AM- 4.05 mile shake out/recovery run @ 8:09 pace
PM- 6.15 miles easy @ 7:08 pace (7:30 1st mile)
Thursday:
PM- 4x1000m cruise intervals @ threshold pace (3:35, 3:38, 3:37, 3:36) + 2.1 mile warm up, and 2.1 mile cool down
Friday:
AM- 3.11 mile shake out/recovery run w/ team mates @ 8:16 pace (8:47 1st mile)
PM- 5.15 miles easy @ 6:58 pace (7:28 1st mile)
Saturday:
PM- 9.05 mile long run @ 7:07 pace
Sunday:
AM- 4.2 mile recovery run @ 7:38 pace
Total= 57.01 miles
Overall, a very successful week. I am really happy w/ my fitness and how my training is going. I have one more week to finish out my summer break and I plan on hitting 60 miles. I'm super stoked for the season to show what I can do. As for some of my runs, Friday on my 2nd run, my watch lost signal for a moment, making it say my first mile was slower than it actually was. As for Saturday's long run, I was very consistent and hit almost all of my splits within about 8 seconds of each other (besides the last 2 miles, they were a bit quicker)
Really excited to see how your weeks went, so please post them. I really enjoy looking at your training and giving advise and feedback. Also, some of the workouts you guys do I plan to add into my training plan so you guys are actually helping me out.
