Does anybody know anything about the course? Just basic stuff like where the heck is it?

Evanston, IL
There's no way it's going to be on Northwestern's campus, though it would be cool if they could retrofit the lakefront greenways on campus that connect to Evanston city parks to create a course, but that can't happen. There simply isn't enough land - too narrow, not long enough, most of it has multiple paved trials. And, there's really nowhere in the whole city of Evanston to host a meet of that magnitude.
So, I'm thinking maybe it will be on the golf course that the golf teams call home -Conway Farms in Lake Forest, maybe 40-50 minutes north. The golf teams also play at Evanston Country Club (located in Skokie), Skokie Country Club and other clubs in the North Shore suburbs, but, I'm not sure those places would want big cross-country meet.
I looked at the women's XC schedule from last year and they didn't host a meet.
Other than Conway Farms, maybe Lincoln Park in Chicago (which would be cool) or one of the Forest Preserve gold courses in the city and suburbs. Really, there's probably several possibilities in the Chicago area. I don't think proximity to campus is a huge factor.
Wisconsin is the only Big Ten team that has their 2015 schedule up and it says the location is Chicago, IL. I know that Loyola has held meets at Montrose Beach in the past.
The meet is at Sydney Marovitz Golf Course on Lake Shore
I heard Waveland Golf Course.
Great location on the lake.
Sydney Marovitz is the same thing as Waveland Golf Course, isn't it?
And, it's just south of Montrose Beach, so I bet that's where Loyola hosts meets.
An appropriate location, as Northwestern won the Big 10 cross country championship 50 years ago.

Correct about the name and this is the course.
Right on the lake next to the waveland clock tower. Rolling hills like any golf course.
Great location and a great course.
Rolling Hills eh? Right along the lake? Also it looks like that course is only a 9 hole course. So would 4x2k loops be out of the question?
Who's going to win? Second? Third? Eighth?
I wonder what Northwestern's men will do? That's right a power 5 conference team that doesn't have a mens XC or track team. Unacceptable...
The course map is available on Northwestern's site.
It's a repeated 2K loop on the golf course with a little cut off the last loop for both men and women.

Predictions for tomorrow? A lot of rain today but golf course still should be fast.
Not sure if anyone posting here has actually ever seen Marovitz golf course; it's pancake flat.
Coaches and spectators should be able to see the whole field come through every K or so.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
