Big News: Mo Farah has pulled out of the meet:
Lagat 3:41.97. Is that an age record?
Yep according to Wikipedia the old 40-45 age record was 3:42.02. New WR!!!
Meet is lackluster so far.
Macpherson won the 400 in 52.
The 1500 was setup so Farah could win it and with him out Magut got the win easily.
I don't think that is a Master's WR for Farah. I actually doubt it.

Wejo showing his lack of knowledge as usual:http://www.mastersathletics.net/fileadmin/html/Rankings/All_Time/1500metresmen.htm
Spencer 54.45 in the 400 hurdles. Would have kept her out of last in the flat 400m
Nijel Amos go the win in the 800.
Field was out in 51+
7 guys were in contention with 100 to go. Amos took the lead as they hit the homestretch. Ksczcot swung wide to try and challenge him but Amos had too much and got the win in 1:46.77 over Ksczcot.
Sowkinski was in the back of the 7 with 100 to go and finishe 6th.

It is windy on the backstretch and slowing times down.

Lagat ran 3:54 for the mile indoors and had to split 3:36-3:37 in that one, so this definitely wasn' t the fastest 1500 run by a master.

NBC/Universal Sports would be in a 3 minute commercial break by now.
7:50.33 at 3k in the 5000. Tim Hutchings said they wanted 7:52 so these guys are going faster on their own.
But this is still only 13:04 pace. With a kick might get sub 13:00.
Props to Koech and Longosiwa for not jogging.
How stupid did Robertson and Co look after that ? Hope they gave their appearance fee back.

57.12 final lap which isn't that great but he went hard all the way to the line and he was blowing everyone away. Surprised a few other guys in the DL standings aren't allowed in this one as this was a 2 man exhibition but good job for pushing on their own.
Tim Hutchings just addresses Farah dropping out of the meet and didn't gloss over it.
Marvin Bracey ran 9.97 in the prelims as they said.
In the steeple it was a battle of the 2 previous DL winners. Virginia Nyambura ran away from Hyvin Kiyeng after the final water jump
Bracy 9.93 (+2.0) wins 100.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
