My achilles/plantar/heel has been sore for some time. Between icing, new shoes/insoles, I have been able to run pain free for several months; I would describe the issue as "discomfort" more than anything else.
Two weeks ago, at the end of a 10 mile run, it was bad enough that I knew I had to stop. I took two days off, then slowly started running again. My mileage over the last 14 days has been:
0,0,0,2,2,3,4,0,0,0,0,0,0. I have ridden my bike to cross train.
The pain has not gone away, or the "ankle cracking" that goes with it. It seems to have gotten a little better, but then leveled off. Should I start running again, or wait until there is absolutely no sign of it.
I was running 60/week prior to stopping.
