Two real-life scenarios:
1. A guy is walking his dog in our neighborhood. His dog poops in a neighbor's yard. The guy keeps walking without cleaning it up. In this case, I stopped him and asked him to please clean up the poop, A. because my kids sometimes play in that yard, and B. it could have been my yard just as easily.
2. An obese lady gives her child a Cake Pop (for breakfast?) as they enter our pre-school this morning at 7:20am. In this case, I did NOT say anything, because the lady's poor eating and child-rearing habits, as heartbreaking as they may be, do not directly affect me and my family.
So, what is YOUR rule of thumb? When do YOU correct a complete stranger in public? (Keep in mind, ITGs, that you would be doing this face-to-face, and not hiding behind a keyboard on the internet, lol)
Discuss.
