Meh
There distance program is going to get cut with the new throwing head coach. This year was there peak or last year
Their athletic department is about to get hit with a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA per their scout website. Be warned.
I too am curious about unc as a 2016 recruit
Women's team overachieved and has some really good, young talent. Men's team did OK.
The ACC is on the upswing. It's not the PAC 12, but for distance running, it's definitely one of the best conferences and is getting better--'Cuse, FL State, UVA, VA Tech, UNC, NC State and Notre Dame are good to great programs depending on year, gender, etc.
I wouldn't worry about scandals re: the basketball or football team. UNC is a fine school and a very good running program. If you can study and run there, do it.
The men's team was 12th at nats while the women were 22nd so I would say the men did more than ok considering their coach is a bozo from North Florida
Mark V can coach and he's a great guy. He cares about his athletes and their college experience.

You're right. They did better than 'OK'.
The ACC is pretty loaded. UNC flew under my radar.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
